The other thing that could be influencing the color is the type of chocolate you are using. I would recommend staying away from generic brands of the pudding or chocolate to avoid annoying food coloring. I am so glad you gave it a try! That frosting is totally fabulous as a fruit dip too if you have extras ;-)

Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Vanessakraftenkrazy3https://www.blogger.com/profile/13387095867225402968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-701812027455701320.post-64388882770976754722014-04-23T07:22:19.390-07:002014-04-23T07:22:19.390-07:00Thank you! The cake and icing got rave reviews from friends. :) Another question...my icing turned out more cream-colored than the white icing pictured in your fireman birthday cake pictures. I used vanilla flavored pudding mix and white chocolate chips. Is there any way to end up with the white-colored icing rather than cream-colored or is your icing more cream-colored as well? I freeze it until we get a great batch of strawberries or something like that. It is a very decadent replacement for fruit dip ;0}
kraftenkrazy3https://www.blogger.com/profile/13387095867225402968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-701812027455701320.post-39398424161763498822014-04-07T08:51:42.918-07:002014-04-07T08:51:42.918-07:00How far in advance can you make the icing before a...How far in advance can you make the icing before a birthday party?
