I made Madison a couple of t-shirts the other day. She was off to Young Women's Camp with our Church. This is her 5th year of camp, so this year she gets to be a YCL {Youth Camp Leader}.
I made a silhouette cut file of the shirt and threw it in my dropbox so you could have it if you wanted it :0}
{please forgive me for the bad pictures. I snapped these two on my phone on my way out the door}
I threw this on the back just for fun :0} Had I been in my right mind, I would have put something on there that had anything to do with the theme. We have been out of town or just getting back from being out of town all summer so far, so I was kinda just flying by the seat of my pants.
Mads had two devotionals she was in charge of, and 4 girls she was to inspire, so I found these quotes to go along with the super hero theme at camp this year. They are all quotes from the super hero's listed. Below each card is what she gave them with the card.
Fly swatter {Walmart $.98} and a hulk tile puzzle {Walmart $.98}
Avengers Light Stick {Walmart $.98}
Yo-yo's {Dollar Tree $1.00}
Adorable shoes cut from wood, painted red and glittered {she promised me pictures since she had everything packed before I realized I didn't get pictures!!!}
Glow Sticks {pack of 48 from Walmart $5}
Capri-Suns {Walmart $1.98}
I can't remember what we gave with this. I think I defaulted to blow pops or tissues cause that was what we had left to use up. Super hero bandaids would have been good too.
You can get all the files HERE from my dropbox. Download what you want, or open a dropbox of your own and just store the files there without ever downloading to your computer. It is free!
Last but not least, here is the story Mads wanted to share for one of her devotionals. We modified it from the original. I felt like the original missed the mark. I have to admit, I still don't like equating the atonement to a story like this, but I do think it helps kids relate their lives to the atonement. So there. You can also find this in my dropbox.
I love these! Skyler actually quoted the Batman one in one of his talks at church. ;)
