I'm Leaving, So Here Is Your To-Do List!!!

I am leaving tomorrow for my Fabulous COUSINS WeekEnd in VEGAS BABY!!!  I am terribly excited and can't wait for a break!  I won't mention that it was supposed to be a "Sister's Weekend" but they are letting me crash the party...and change the name :0)

We will apparently be eating insane amounts of delicious food (every last one of them a FABULOUS chef), bury ourselves in unfinished projects as far as the eye can see, and taking turns sprinting to the bathroom to avoid the most appalling incidents due to excessive laughter :0)

Now I just need to figure out which long awaited projects I should do.  In addition to my mile high pile of unfinished To-Do's, I found these today!!!  The photo above and the photo below come to us from one of my favorite digital scrapbooking sites, PickleBerryPop!  Click on this link, then scroll down a little ways and you will find these great projects!  I bought them BOTH for $6!!!  All that is left to do is visit the copy store!

I saw this at KoJo Designs a while back and finally found the jersey sheets necessary to make it!!!  Do I dare!?!  It would take up a lot of the time...I may use it as my last project and finish it at home.

A good hour of my day was spent looking at patterns on the site You Can Make This.com.  I LOVE the site!  You can check it out HERE.  I have purchased a couple skirt and tie patterns.  It is actually where I got my first twirl skirt and hairbow patterns that started all of this MADNESS!  The patterns are fabulous with tons of full color photos!  Above is the Miss Madeline Peasant Dress.  I have had my eye on this pattern for forever!  Maybe I should finally bite the bullet and buy it!

Same site, then there is this Rosetta Ruffle Bag.  How cute is that!?!  Apparently the pattern has a small, med. and large pattern included!  You be I would be going for the LARGE!  I always over pack.  Oh yeah, Hey Cousins!  I hope you realize I have packed HALF my HOUSE!!!

Lastly, I tracked down this Campfire felt food kit from Sugar Pie Bakery.  Her pattern was also on YouCanMakeThis.com.  I have been thinking about this for our centerpieces for the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet.  I know it would be totally CRAZY because I would have to make like 14 sets :0)  But wouldn't it be so fun on the tables!?!  The boys can take them home!  Maybe one per family.  You know I have just TONS of extra time, right?

Make a fresh batch of THESE for me from the recipe at SisterStuff

Someone take this Fabulous book of experiments from A Lemon Squeezy Home, make it Harry Potter themed, and email it to me for Eli's birthday in a couple weeks...

Paint my family on a set of these little guys...found at Eighteen25 ...

Make up all twenty thousand ideas for in the car found at Delicious Ambiguity...

Don't forget to make me a personalized calendar, with monthly themes like I found at Clean and Scentsible ...

And last, but not least, a set of hearts from The Wood Connection for my mantle :0)

You better get busy!  You have a lot to do by Monday!!!

More Gotta Do

So, I have nothen' for ya.  I couldn't stand the thought of those raw chicken pictures front and center on the blog one more day.  That's why I hit the infamous "Gotta Do" file.  First up is a free pattern for Rita's Rump Pocket.  It takes a very determined mother to MAKE her diapers!  They are so cute though, right? 

While we are on the subject of determined ladies, Sabra from Sew A Straight Line makes her own paper towel!!!  I was intrigued by the idea and found her tutorial here.  Wow!  I hate to admit it, but I would like to make some :0)

This little rolled-up letter of love comes from Paper 'N Stitches.  I want to make them for my family and hide them in their sock drawers and lunch boxes.  Who needs to wait for valentines day, right?  I just need to wait until I have a second to myself.  Valentines Day might come first :0)

How-CUTE-is-THIS!!!!  I love these frames, but have never seen one as cute as this one!  And guess what?  I just found out that Lowes has the metal already cut in a pack of 10 for something like $2.50!!!!  Do I hear a Christmas project knocking on the door?  You can find this project at Nap Time Journal.

Last thing before I run out the door for a day of painful Super Saturday Shopping-Make your own coloring book tutorial using Photo Shop.  How fun would that be?  I now have my first child that likes to color coloring pages!  I was just thinking, "How do I do that again" at the thought of a coloring book of family pictures.  I had a Kodak camera that came with it's own program.  That program had a coloring book option, but is on our other computer that has no printer.

More Gotta' Do

I am rather swamped this week.  The kids started school, Emmalee is going through playmate withdrawals, I have 20 lbs of meat to can, and I have a huge wedding cake to make for this weekend.  What better excuse to show off some more from the bursting-at-the-seams Gotta' Do File!?!

The first idea comes to you from The Rubber Punkin.  This is only one page of many free printables to help you get organized.  There are even a couple pages of circles without titles so you can add your own.  They  could even be used for cupcake toppers!!!  Check THEM out!

The next site, Wood'n Stitches, is so cute.   THERE are really cute wood ideas for Halloween and Thanksgiving.  But...what's that?  Not ready for Halloween and Thanksgiving just yet? Look how cute these watermelons are!

I know that school is just starting, but I loved this idea!  Maybe a "First Day of School Shirt", or how about a "Last Day of Summer Camp"?  Perhaps there is an end of summer slumber party coming up. A "Last Day of Summer" shirt would be a big hit, don't ya think?  This idea comes to you from Secrets of a Super Mommy, posted HERE.

How Super-Di-Duppery Cute is this bake sale!?!  I have never seen anyone go to as much trouble to do a bang up job as Jill from The Bird and The Berry.  She even did it for CHARITY!!!  Check that out HERE!

This one really brings on Project-Envy BIG TIME!!!  I was surfing the web, looking for Super Saturday craft ideas when I came upon these blocks.  The envy part comes in when they mention that the stickers used in these super simple blocks HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR YEARS!!!  I have since wasted an uncountable amount of hours scouring the web for any chance there might be one left out there somewhere on the planet.  I have even written the company, Me & My Big Ideas, to plead with them to make it again.  Good luck there, right?  I thought it was worth a try.

My obsession was only made worse when I came upon this site...

Wendy, from Under My Umbrella, cut hers out around the sticker.  Thanks a lot!  There went another day of my life searching all the same places all over again!  I WANT THOSE STICKERS!!!  I am convinced there is not any other set of stickers in the whole wide world as cute as these.  And if there is, I will never know because I live nowhere near a scrapbook store!!!   *sigh*  Moving along...

Isn't this cute!?!   I love what Aimee from Sprik Space came up with for Jason's birthday present.  So fun and spunky. Love the COLORS!  Who wouldn't feel better about their old age after getting this darling gift?

Keeping with the birthday theme, this last one I can't really show you with pictures.  You have to CLICK on the link and read it for yourself.  Sweet Lara, after reading another BLOGGER , decided to celebrate her birthday by performing random acts of kindness around town....one for every year of her life. I LOVE IT!!!  I would enjoy my birthday so much, much more if I did this instead of waiting for everyone to not remember :0)  Get out there and make it amazing all by yourself!
