Egg Shapers

Have you ever seen these before???  I came across them when I was searching for bento box supplies on Amazon.  They were so cheep and I knew the kids would love them I ordered a set.  The first set of boiled egg shapers were such a hit, we ordered two more sets.  Now we have a whole collection.  We made boiled eggs for breakfast, and much to my dismay, I didn't get one :0{  I was brave, I was strong, I made some more!  Here is how easy they are to use...

Boil your egg, take the shell off, and place inside while they are still fairly hot.

Close the mold kind of slowly, but you really don't need to worry about the eggs.  Some magical force keeps them intact and causes them to spread out into the given shape.

Place them in cold-ish water (tap water in Arizona comes out at like 1,000 degrees in the summer) and let them sit for 5-10 minutes.

Voila!  Shaped egg.
Food that is fun to eat!

Here are some of our other molds, eggs that are even cooler looking in person!

I bought my egg molds on Amazon.com for around $3.25 for a set of two.  Just head on over to Amazon and  search "Egg Mold" if you are interested.  They make food crafting fast, easy and fun!

Look at her!  She is too busy eating her cute little bear egg to even look at the camera :0)
