Sargento's Cheesy Giveaway

Today I got a hankering for some more of that fabulous Sargento Ultra Thin Cheese after checking out some of the Ultra Thin recipes on their website.

Here is the recipe I decide to try today:
1-1/2 cups shredded or chopped cooked chicken

1/4 cup each: chopped radishes {I substituted cucumbers}, Chopped cilantro, and salsa

4 Tbsp. light mayonnaise, divided
2 whole wheat flatbread {I used a pita pocket thin}
2 romaine lettuce leaves
4 slices Sargento Ultra Thin sliced Colby-Jack Cheese, cut diagonally in half

Combine chicken, radishes, cilantro, salsa, and 2 Tbs. of Mayo; mix well.

Spread remaining mayo on the bread.  Layer with lettuce, half the cheese, chicken salad, and remaining cheese.

After snarfing down a whole pocket full of goodness I can tell you this recipe is a totally refreshing change.
This Sargento recipe beat my normal PB and J

Tomorrow I plan on trying this:
Seriously!  I just bought the asparagus :0)

  1. That wrap looks and sounds delicious! Pepper jack is my favorite cheese of all time! I love some spicy cheese!! Thanks for the giveaway. Free cheese would be awesome!

  2. My favorite cheese is either mozzarella or provolone. Now for the cheesy joke "Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent"

  3. I've been making a lot of cornbread lately and my favorite way is to add a can of creamed corn and lots of shredded sharp cheddar to 2 boxes Jiffy mix. Yum!

  4. I love cheese fondue using Fontinella cheese, yummy!! Dip in bread, apples and veggies-delicious. I love cheese!

  5. Sargento Cheese, I love to please.
My favorite man, the best I can..
I feed him cheese, he's on his knees,
    begging for more, Sargento Cheese.

  6. My favorite jokes are all cheesy! What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in the ocean? Bob. What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in a pile of leaves? Russell. What do you call a leper with no arms and no legs? Stew. Okay, the last one was gross... but those are family favorites!
P.S. I love pepperjack cheese so very much!

  7. Want a little cheese with that whine? As for favs --- sharp cheddar, pepper jack, and mozzarella. Not necessarily in that order.

  8. I love to put spray butter on the interior of a ciabatta roll and pan grill it until it is browned. Then, spread the bun halves with pesto. Add thinly sliced pieces of chicken or turkey along with a provolone cheese slice. For extra zing, add thinly sliced red onion rings or red pepper, roasted or fresh. Yum!
