Sargento's Cheesy Giveaway

Today I got a hankering for some more of that fabulous Sargento Ultra Thin Cheese after checking out some of the Ultra Thin recipes on their website.

Here is the recipe I decide to try today:
1-1/2 cups shredded or chopped cooked chicken

1/4 cup each: chopped radishes {I substituted cucumbers}, Chopped cilantro, and salsa

4 Tbsp. light mayonnaise, divided
2 whole wheat flatbread {I used a pita pocket thin}
2 romaine lettuce leaves
4 slices Sargento Ultra Thin sliced Colby-Jack Cheese, cut diagonally in half

Combine chicken, radishes, cilantro, salsa, and 2 Tbs. of Mayo; mix well.

Spread remaining mayo on the bread.  Layer with lettuce, half the cheese, chicken salad, and remaining cheese.
Yumm!

After snarfing down a whole pocket full of goodness I can tell you this recipe is a totally refreshing change.
This Sargento recipe beat my normal PB and J
HANDS DOWN :0)

Tomorrow I plan on trying this:
Seriously!  I just bought the asparagus :0)

  2. My favorite cheese is either mozzarella or provolone. Now for the cheesy joke "Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent"

  6. My favorite jokes are all cheesy! What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in the ocean? Bob. What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in a pile of leaves? Russell. What do you call a leper with no arms and no legs? Stew. Okay, the last one was gross... but those are family favorites!
P.S. I love pepperjack cheese so very much!

  7. Want a little cheese with that whine? As for favs --- sharp cheddar, pepper jack, and mozzarella. Not necessarily in that order.

  8. I love to put spray butter on the interior of a ciabatta roll and pan grill it until it is browned. Then, spread the bun halves with pesto. Add thinly sliced pieces of chicken or turkey along with a provolone cheese slice. For extra zing, add thinly sliced red onion rings or red pepper, roasted or fresh. Yum!
