Donate A Photo {& Giveaway}

I am so excited to share a new app that is available right now that allows you to donate to charities of your choosing by simply posting a photo.  We all post photos practically every day on a wide variety of social media sites.  Johnson & Johnson created the app and has teamed up with TheMotherhood.com to spread the word about Donate A Photo.

Here are the details...
Donate a Photo is a FREE app that allows consumers to give back to causes they care about by taking an action they do every day and turning it into a way to do good.  For every photo shared through Donate A Photo, Johnson & Johnson will donate one dollar to one of it's non profit partners, which you can choose from a rotating list.  When a cause reaches it's financial goal, another cause will take it's place on the list.  The causes that have reached their goal still stay in the app so that we can find out more about their organization.

Everyone can donate only one photo a day, but you can donate your one daily photo each and every day of the year.  That means that in 365 days you can donate $365 to charitable organizations without ever opening your pocket book.

Donating is simple.  Just visit donateaphoto.com to find out how to download the free app.  Once you have it installed on your device, open it up, register, pick a cause, a photo, and click share!  It is that easy.  It has only taken me a couple minutes each day and I would have taken that long to post the photos on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter anyway.  Donate A Photo will post the pictures for you at each of the sites if you link them up to your accounts {simple to do when registering}.
The Donate A Photo app is available for both the iOS and Android platforms.  While you can only donate a photo on mobile devices, you can view the gallery of all images donated, as well as access other information on any type of device via the website.
As you can see, the pictures don't even have to be related to the cause.  Have fun with the app.  You are doing good with every photo posted.

Now, as if that wasn't enough of the warm fuzzies, Johnson & Johnson has offered a box of goodies for me to give away!!!  The contents are a surprise, so don't ask me what will be inside.  Just enter your hearts out below and then you might just be the one that gets to tell US what was in the box :0}

I will be back in 5 days with a winner and 5 more donated photos to share!
I can't wait to see yours!!!

***Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and you can donate a photo to one cause, once a day.  Each cause will remain in the app until it reaches it's goal, or the donation period ends.  If the goal isn't reached, the cause will still get a minimum donation

  1. What a great cause! I liked how you can see which causes are being donated to and how close they are to the goal.
