Grocery Scavenger Hunt

I just finished making this Grocery Scavenger Hunt for the Cookie Sheet Activity board I have failed to share with you.  When I get a moment I will get that Super Saturday Project posted, but for now, you can check out the scavenger hunt.  I started making it on Friday.  As I thought about finding photos online, it dawned on me, "Why not take our own photos!"  I grabbed three of my favorite toddlers and my most favorite toddler wrangler and hit the local grocery.  All of the photos used in the scavenger hunt are pictures we took together, me and my miniature assistants.  You are welcome to the print above.  Click on the image, right click the larger file that comes up, and save it to your computer.  From there you can print it however you prefer.  If that doesn't work for some reason, email me at vanessa.cam5@gmail.com and I will email the file to you directly.  I would love to hear how you used the scavenger hunt.  My minions are already going crazy over it because they remember taking the pictures.

Here are a few of our favorites...

No, no one is in pain.  Those are actually all smiles :0)

This handsome devil was kind enough to pose for a shot.  We will have to give him his very own copy of the scavenger hunt.  Or, better yet, we should show up there and beg for autographs!!!

Did I mention that I got many a weird looks as I pushed my crowd through the store, donning my huge camera and stopping every 5 feet to take a shot.  Apparently it didn't stop us.

Look!  We even found friends!

Yumm.  Our favorite flavor by popular vote.

Like we could get out of there without a shot of the ice cream!  No sir.  In fact, here is a closer look...
Mouth watering yet?
It is on sale right now at your friendly neighborhood grocery store!!!

I thought I would take this picture so that children can know what these strange fences are for out there in the parking lot.  It is insane how hard it is to find a parking spot that isn't already full of carts.  Enough of that soap box...

OK, not grocery, but in the grocery parking lot.  I guess I should admit that I am rather proud, first that I took this picture with my own camera...Love IT! and more importantly, what a beautiful sight!  The American Flag.  Yes, we just hit the 10yr anniversary of Sept. 11th, but I am really just so thankful to be an American.  I am so very grateful for the little things, like that we can shop in the grocery store and buy any food our hearts desire without restriction or ration.  With two brothers that have served in the war in Iraq/Afghanistan, I am so very humbled by the sacrifice of our brave soldiers and the sleepless nights had by their supportive families at home.
God Bless America, and everyone in it!
Now eat some vegetables....or just take pictures of some :0)

  2. Fun idea! I'm definitely printing this out, laminating it, then grabbing some white board or overhead markers and letting the kids cross off what they find while we are shopping! They will love it!
