Glue Gun Stand Addition!

My customers requested it, I made it happen.

They wanted a Glue Gun Stand that came with a cup for glue sticks attached.

Done.  What else you got???

We tried a couple things, but this bracket and jelly jar seemed to work the best.

I am thinking I will have to make a Left or Right hand option when I get these bad boys listed on Etsy.  Being a Leftie I am a little over conscious about that issue ;0}

Want one for Christmas!?!  Just email or stop by my Etsy store to pick one up.  Sadly, the shipping on these is more than I like.  I still can't find a way to ship wood any cheaper than the post office.  It makes me angry that if this guy were a book he would ship for $3, but since he isn't, it is more like $8.  LAME!  Maybe I will have to start making them out of books :0}

  1. What if you sold it as a partial assembly required. The part that holds the glue gun can then be assembled with the jar holder turned either to the left or right. Then it can be shipped flat with the accompanying screws for the pre-drilled holes.

    1. That is a good idea. My husband was saying it is pretty hard to screw that metal band on, but he hadn't pre-drilled a hole. He just thought he could easily screw through those slats. So, if we pre-drilled a hole...and did not include the jelly jar we could still ship it flat. The only problem is the tile weighs so much it raises the shipping price. I can only assume by adding the glass jar it will make them even heavier.

      If I don't attach the tile before they are shipped, it is super expensive to buy the epoxy for just one tile and I don't want to leave that to my customers. I can put together 12 stands using one $4-6 bottle rather than the customer having that additional cost for one. If that were the case, it would be cheaper to just pay more for shipping.

      The whole thing is frustrating. Now that we are adding the jar, I should probably check out ups again and see if they are now cheaper. They are sometimes better for heavier things.

      Sorry for the long response :0} Thank you so much for the comment though!!!
