I totally LOVE this Twilight Inspired CountDown I came up with to give as a party favor at our Happy Birthday Edward party. I made it out of 2x2 wood. Each kit consists of two 4 1/2" blocks with phrases, and four 1 1/5" blocks with numbers.
The phrases I chose were: Days Until, Countdown To, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, Edward...and I figured I should throw the dog in there too(meaning Jacob)...for my friends...if I have to :0)
Don't you just LOVE Alice!?! There is no arguing that fact! I hope here hair is better in this movie. The last movie there were some real wig issues where she was concerned.
Oh, yeah! The blocks...ahem...There are other things you can do with them! I made one side on each of the long blocks chalkboard so you can add your own sentiments...that way they have some use after the movies...not that life will ever be the same after the whole Twilight thing is over.
You do realize that Edward's birthday is June 12th, right!?! We just might have to have a little bloggy birthday party right here on that day. It was Madison's idea. I am just supporting my daughter. I am not obsessed myself. Really. No need for intervention :0)
This project was Linked up HERE-get ready for tons of buttons:
Super cute! I know you'll hate hearing this (based on your post) but I'm all for Jacob... :)
ReplyDeleteI like that you added the chalkboard for further use. That would be a super cute little countdown for holidays and such.
I can't wait for the movie either.. Really cute countdown blocks. The only thing about the movies is that the boy who plays Edward is not the Edward in my mind. Kimberly is just like my sister liking Jacob. But that is okay... everyone has their own opinions...lol.
ReplyDeletethose are sooo fun! I love them! You should make some and have a giveaway. I would try to win - lol!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Jen
Can't wait for the movie to come out!! Ummm....so I can see if it is suitable for my daughter, umm...yeah...that's why I am going! (at 12:01 opening night) LOL
ReplyDeleteVery cute Idea....I may have to send this link to my friends, too! :)
Yeah, yeah. Aren't we all just checking it out for our kids(wink, wink) I agree, Edward isn't the Edward of my dreams, but I will try to get past this at the midnight showing. Just trying to decide if we should do the marathon this time-all three movies will be quite a sit-through.
ReplyDeletep.s. I wasn't kidding about a giveaway on Edward's birthday. Check back on June 12th, his Happy 109th! We might as well live this thing up!

Ha! Love it! I'm in the midst of planning a really big 'Eclipse' watching party....I've posted a few details, and will post tons more after the fact, but I think I need one of these, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about the movie too - I've showed my husband a few trailers and (even though he won't admit it) I think he's excited to see it too. Maybe I should make those blocks for him! =)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
