A Day to Help

Scott and I were happy to help coordinate efforts to gather clothing and shoes for our sweet fellow church members in Texas that were suffering after a horrible Hurricane hit the area. We called and collected hundreds of pounds of clothing and goods from people in our area, then met together with other groups to sort, fold, and ship the items.
I was so touched by the mounds of clothes and the huge number of people that showed up to work on Sat. morning. Of course darling Emmalee was there with her smile on to help as well.

I love bringing my kids to things like this so they can learn the rewards of working hard for the benefit of others! Madison and Eli were so excited to be there and willing to do anything they were asked. It sure makes a mother proud!
