My baby boy turned eight and chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. We had a grand celebration for which I made this cake. It was really fun to come up with a design. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and really have to try not to over-do it or to over-stress it. I did a carrot cake and tried Wilton's new orange cream cheese frosting. It was fabulous! Can't wait to make it again! Added orange zest to the border. I didn't like that at all. It ended up looking all wilted and gross. I would definitely not recommend that to anyone... but it sure tasted good!
