The Copy-Cat in Me

I started looking at other blogs, which lead to more blogs, and even more blogs...as usual.  I am sure I am not alone in this problem. I have to limit when I get to do this cause it can be such a TIME SUCKER-not that it isn't totally enjoyable.  In fact, I would much rather check out how creative everyone else is than sit staring blankly at the TV for any amount of time.  Anywho, here are some things I found...

These sensory bottles, which I thought looked kind of gross at first, are actually kinda cool.  I am sure a little one would love to play with them.  You can see them HERE at

I got a comment from Paring Down and loved her philosophy on clearing the house.  I am a TOTAL FAN of the whole idea.  Here she is clearing out the Scrapbook stuff, something I just did about a month ago.
I finally took a huge box...ok...three huge boxes, loaded everything I haven't touched in a year, and sent them off to DI, same as Goodwill.  DI actually drove the 1hr across town from Mesa, AZ and picked it up at my doorstep :0)  That made me very happy.

Number three...
This lovely slide bum-saver!  We live in roasty-toasty Arizona.  My Emms already complains about getting into the hot car and... going down the slide.  This is so what I need for her.

This darling's mommy made it for her and shows you how to make one also.  I am thinking that all of you in like, Minnesota and other places where you get to the park and it has rained-what is that?- could love one yourselves.  You can find it HERE at Pony Tails & Fish Scales.

Thanks for the ideas ladies!

  1. Thanks so much for featuring me! Paring Down is an ongoing process...a process I'm truly enjoying.

My kids would have enjoyed their childhoods even more if I had shown them such cute sensory toys, and they had the coolest slide towel EVER!

    Have a great weekend!
